What it's for
You choose which one you came for.
To lift the energy, to introduce a newly formed team, to celebrate an achievement.
For a leadership programme, a culture reading, a development process.
Most organisations start with the first and continue with the second.
How it works
01
Ice in Antarctica, a meteor in Meteors, a tower rising in SOSTower. No one is acting a part; decisions are made, argued over and won together.
02
What happens during the session is recorded. Who spoke when, where a decision came from, what the team let go of when it was under pressure.
03
The team looks at its own record. No one has to convince anyone; the screen is already there. The facilitator does not give the answer — they ask the question.
Why it's safe
For people to see themselves, they first have to feel safe. For us this is not a preference but a condition of the work.
We see every participant as creative, resourceful and whole. A person's worth does not depend on their role, their title, or the mistake they made that day.
We build and protect a space where no one is diminished and everyone can try. A mistake is not an offence to be punished; it is the fuel of learning.
“Build the safe space first; everything else rises on top of it.”
What we measure
When what was lived becomes visible and is backed by data, the way forward opens.
Most team activities leave behind a good day and end there. We take something measurable out of that day.
Natural and adapted profile — on one axissample output
The dashed line is the natural profile, the solid line the adapted one. The distance between them shows how much the person is adjusting their behaviour today.
The same team, a second simulation. We do not say “they improved”; we show the difference between the two sessions.
Simulations
A team in the middle of the ice, resources running down, and decisions that have to be made together.
5-10 people · 2-4 hours · online
A team that has to put its priorities in order against something coming from the sky.
5-10 people · 2-3 hours · online
A structure that gets harder as it rises; every floor a new question about dividing the work.
4-8 people · 1.5-3 hours · online
No setup, no equipment, no travel. It opens in a browser. Everyone joins from their own screen — the same room, different cities.
Inventories
Each answers a single question. It takes 10-20 minutes; participants see their own result.
Inventories serve not only the individual but the room. The same result lays the ground for these conversations:
Inventories are for development and awareness; they are not diagnostic tools, nor an input to hiring decisions.
Who we are
A way of seeing that comes from the coaching traditions.
The craft that comes from training the trainers.
Seven facilitator values.
“Values are what we do even when no one is watching.”
Scope
In a one-hour online introductory session we live a short part of the simulation together; then we show how the report comes out.
